UMBC - BS, Biochemistry

With a strong background in science, I am able to tutor on several different levels in this discipline. I prefer to tutor courses such as Biology, but am also proficient in Algebra, Geometry, elementary and middle school math and science, Chemistry, Physics, Anatomy, American History, and test preparation for various standardized tests. I have tutored Inorganic Chemistry, Biochemistry, and worked as an assistant teacher for an introductory biology class. I possess a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Maryland and attended the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. I am currently looking into doctoral programs, as I want to focus on research and would like to later help teach the next generation of scientists. I found my calling in Biology and hope to share that passion with others. I try to focus on how all of the sciences are all connected, as it leads to a fuller understanding of the material. When I am not in school, I have a variety of interests to keep me occupied. I'm an avid tennis fan and enjoy playing when I can. I also love to watch musicals, sing karaoke, watch The Game of Thrones, and play Magic: The Gathering.
