I love learning! I believe that it is never too late for a student to start enjoying the learning process. I love to help others discover new perspectives on their favorite subjects, and I myself try to learn a little something new every single day. I received my bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, and it was there that I discovered my love of educating others while working as a teaching assistant. I also have a master's degree from American University. As a tutor, my best subjects are mathematics and writing. I can help students with many levels of math, including elementary and middle school math, as well as pre-algebra. I can also help students improve their reading comprehension and writing skills, including essay writing, editing, and refining their college entrance essays. I can also help students with literature, English, the social sciences, and psychology. I am particularly helpful when it comes to organization and study skills, because everyone needs to learn these habits to succeed in school and continue to be successful in their careers. I am very excited about tutoring because I love to help students learn to love their education.
